Dermalogica’s New Redness Relief Primer SPF20

First we see the launch of an exciting new product from the Ultracalming line by Dermalogica: ‘The Redness Relief Primer SPF20’. Counteract tell-tale skin redness and balance skin tone with this soothing, translucent primer tinted with natural green botanical extracts. Velvety silicones smooth the skin and strengthen barrier protection, while physical sunscreen shields the skin from irritating UV rays (hard to believe but those rays are there all the time!).

If you are a Dermalogica fan you will be aware that this is the second primer to be added to Dermalogicas ever growing product line. In February 2013 we saw the release of the skin perfect primer SPF 30 – a fabulous addition to the Age Smart range. This is a great product to smooth away fine lines, brighten and prime for flawless skin, and to prep for make-up application. Silicones create an instantly smooth surface whilst pearl powder and natural earth minerals provide a neutral tint to help balance tone and enhance luminosity. Peptides and AGE Smart® actives help firm and shield against MMP and free radical damage and sunscreens shield against sun exposure.

Spring / Summer 2015 Hawaii collection from OPI

It’s the Spring / Summer collection from OPI and although we are feeling the winter chill still and the thought of the warm sunshine seems far away, OPI are giving us a little taste of sunshine with these tropical colours. With a choice of 12 delicious colours in nail varnish and gels, there’s bound to be a colour for all personalities!

WHB put them to the test!…
All the colours cover well. I only had to apply two coats to get an even coverage over the nails. Durability? well it’s OPI which are renowned for their staying power regardless of whether you choose varnish or gel.

And what collection from opi wouldn’t be complete without its fun and unique choices of names for the colours…

My Ghecko does tricks ( bright yellow toned green)
Pineapple’s Have Peelings Too! (gold frost with various sizes and colors of glitter)

My two personal favourites are “do you take lei away?” as I quite like a subtle nude which I feel always complements any outfit, and “is Mai tai crooked?” As I’m always tempted with a coral orange to get me in that holiday mood.
Karen on the other hand after whittling it down and finally choosing just two she went for the “Suzi shops and Island hops” (she’s a sucker for a pink!) and “lost my bikini in Molokini” which both complemented her skin tone beautifully!
